New York City baby! We are here. We arrived late Sunday night and headed straight for pancakes. Today was our lazy day although we managed to cover quite a bit of ground.Accommodation: Our apartment at The Sanctuary Suites in the lower East side is AMAZING. We have a little white dog living next door called Phoebe, we’re a few doors down from a jazz bar and mingled in between plenty of thrift stores.
Breakfast: For breakfast we headed to the all famous Katz Deli where Harry met Sally and feasted on a pastrami sandwich and pickles.
There’s still some snow on the ground from Saturdays snow storm but the weathers crisp, cold and sunny, perfect conditions for the Halloween Parade tonight! I have been inflating our props for this evening Halloween Part II where we shall be basing our costumes on the Flintstones and rocking out to The Misfits at BBKings.Quiet Coffee: After our meat feast we went shopping and enjoyed a drink in Yaffa Cafe (they have the BEST interior) then headed home for an afternoon power nap. Ahhh now to prepare for this evening!
