Here at The Fabulous Times we’re dedicated to inspiring a happy, fabulous and simply abundant life. Living your fabulous times means creating a simply abundant life, it means feeling rich with or without financial wealth. As the snow fell heavily across London we plodded through the park to Alexandra Palace and looked out over a picturesque snow covered London. This peaceful snow day offered a moment of calm to mull over the lessons of simple abundance we’ve learned and adopted from a number of books we read last year. Here are our favourite tips to inspire a happy, simple and abundant life.
When we peered out of the window this morning we could have curled up and stayed in bed, tucked up, hidden from the frosty, cold day. Instead we donned our boots and headed out into the snow. We were grateful to be able to experience a snowy winter day in beautiful London. At this time of year it’s easy to fall into the pattern of tiredness, moaning, boredom, unhappiness focusing your thoughts on everything you haven’t got e.g sunshine! And forgetting to be grateful for what life has given us.
‘Gratitude is the open door to abundance .’ unknown.
Believe in your dreams:
“Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life.” -Wayne Dyer.
Working towards making your dreams come true is what lays the foundations to your wildly abundant life. Dream up your list of things that you would love to achieve, create a plan of how to achieve your goals, no matter how long it might take you, start to take the steps to work towards your dreams!
A Content Mind:
As we walked around the park today we came across a very friendly, handsome cat who we nicknamed Bob. Bob was plump, happy and enjoying rolling around in the snow. Bob was content and happy, he had no stress or anxieties, we could learn a thing or two from Bob. To feel truly abundant your mind must be content. We’re not saying you have to behave like a cat, just that like Bob being grateful for the simplest of things, allowing yourself time to play and sharing love may just lead to a more content mind.

‘All we have is all we need. All we need is the awareness of how blessed we really are’ – Sarah Ban Breathnach
Bringing your awareness to the present moment is one of the most important lessons for an abundant and fabulous life. Know that all you have right now is all that you need to be happy. It’s quite easy to get caught up in the age old pursuit for money, success, fame and material processions, thinking you cannot be happy until you achieve and gain these things. To be truly happy it’s important to shift your awareness and appreciation to all that you have right now.
Food plays a big part in your mood, binging on sugar and processed beige foods will make you feel lethargic and sad. Bananas are full of the vitamins B6 and amino acids that help produce serotonin, very dark chocolate and avocados all contain essential properties to increase serotonin production. Eat fresh and natural foods and feel good.
Smile and the World smiles with you. It’s simple., it’s easy and every one can do it. Smiling is good for you in so many different ways, it strengthens muscles, releases endorphins and makes you look beautiful and approachable. So smile, show us those pearly whites.
