When passion, empowerment and purpose come together- the outcome is truly beautiful. Sacet are a jewellery brand on a mission to move the luxury jewellery industry towards a more sustainable future. I was thrilled to receive a beautiful Gold Ring and Diamond earrings in the post. They arrived in a pretty white box wrapped in a cotton bag. All the packaging used by Sacet is eco-friendly, created using only 100% recyclable materials. All the materials for the jewellery are ethically sourced and consciously created by talented craftspeople…
Sacet cuts out the middleman, as their jewellery comes straight from the craftspeople. The aim is to empower the craftspeople and the communities in which they live. Every piece of jewellery is hand-finished by trained craftspeople, using years of knowledge and skills that have often been passed down from generation to generation.
All the metals used for Sacet Jewellery are 100% recycled. By using recycled metals they avoid large gold mines where working conditions are often not up to standard. Metals are sourced from both industry and used jewellery, melted down to its purest state and repurposed to create beautifully crafted jewellery. Using recycled gold, platinum & silver is the best way to ensure creations are ethical and sustainable.
Jewellery with A Purpose
Sacet are creating jewellery with a purpose. With more than 1.3 billion people in the world living in extreme poverty. Their goal is to create beautiful jewellery that has a beautiful impact on the world. Sacet have set up a manufacturing company for the craftspeople that create their range, complete with built in artisan workshop. It’s all funded, interest-free, until it becomes self-sustaining. 100% of the manufacturing company profits are used to provide the craftspeople and others with skills development, healthcare and children’s education to help them live an enriched life.
If you’re looking for a special piece of jewellery with a beautiful story behind it, then Sacet have a lovely range. The Sacet Collection has everything from wedding rings to diamond bracelets. I love my new jewellery and it’s so heartwarming to know that its very creation has had a positive impact on a community.
“If diamonds are a girls best-friend, let’s make sure they’re ethically sourced!”
