It’s A Bit Pricey
It’s easy to dismiss shopping sustainably because it is expensive. Admittedly, the initial cost can be pretty expensive. Remember though, if you are opting to live more sustainably, you are not going to be buying a new coat every month. You are paying for quality. Insert the age old saying >“you buy cheap, you buy twice” < here. The initial cost will pay off over the years. Of course, there are other sustainable shopping options for those on a limited budget. Choosing vintage or second-hand is another great way to affordably switch up your style without negatively impacting the environment.

They use natural materials and have a fully transparent production process, that is bringing the textiles industry back to the north of England.

Recycle with Arket is an initiative where the brand has asked customers to bring unwanted textiles and shoes to their stores. The textiles and shoes are then sent to their warehouse using ARKET’s existing logistic network: the trucks delivering products to the store will return to the warehouse carrying the goods brought in for recycling. Arket’s partner I:CO collects all items and sorts them into three major categories depending on their condition: REWEAR, REUSE or RECYCLE.
