Late Night Gallery Opening
Perhaps somewhat surprisingly a lot of the London Art Galleries open late. You need to check the exact dates and times for each gallery, which you can do easily on the visit London website. The Royal Academy of Arts is open until 10pm every Friday with live music, lectures, talks and tours, plus late opening in the restaurant and bar.
Do some late night shopping
You can also go shopping in London after dark. Oxford Streets stores are open until 9pm every day – except Thursday when they’re open as late as 10pm! Whilst they can still get busy, shopping at this time can help you beat the midday crowds.
See a theatre show
A trip to a London theatre is a must whilst in the capital. You’ll find plenty of shows to choose from on the West End – many of which star world-famous actors. It’s worth booking tickets in advance in order to get the best seats and secure the best showing times.
