It’s all too easy to get caught up in the fast pace of life with endless ‘to do’ lists, technological overload and sensory bombardment from every angle! Now so more than ever, taking a moment for reflection is key to staying focused and not losing sight of the things in life that truly matter.
With this in mind I wanted to set a little challenge around the theme of gratitude, a challenge that will hopefully bring a little ray of sunshine to your everyday and give you a warm glow from the inside out, a glow of joy and happiness that might hopefully thaw out these chilly winter days!
I would like to set a #momentsoffabulous Gratitude Challenge for you and for myself to take a moment to reflect on those little moments in life that we are grateful for! In the words of Dr Wayne Dyer
‘Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change’
If we all hit pause on our day for a moment to make a note of those little things that make every day that bit special, we may just change the way we look at our daily lives. The challenge is to make a note of those everyday moments of fabulous that we feel grateful for, that could be a chance encounter with an old friend, a compliment from a work colleague or the smell of your favourite flowers.
Simple Gratitude Challenge
For the next 21 days I will be challenging myself and I do hope you’ll join in to make a note of the moments of fabulous in my daily life that I am grateful for…
- Write in your journal- each night (or as often as you can) 5 little #momentsoffabulous that you are grateful for.
- Tweet five #momentsoffabulous that you have been most grateful for
- Share five #momentsoffabulous on your Instagram stories, don’t forget to tag me I’d love to share!
Repeat this excercise for 21days and see if it perks up your day and changes the way you look at things!
