Seems to me like podcasts are riding the crest of a wave at the moment, with so many to choose from it’s tough to decide what to listen to! I listen to lots of podcasts, mostly when I’m either getting ready to leave for work in the morning, in the bath or marching to get somewhere. There are lots of fabulously inspiring podcasts, so I thought I’d share a few personal favourites.
There are lots of ways to listen to podcasts, through your laptop in the office through your mobile or by choosing an alternative device like a cheap Google Chromecast. Whichever way you decide to listen, you’re bound to find a few podcasts that you become hooked on. The following are my three favourite, I listen to others but always find myself going back to these three.
The goop Podcast
Gwyneth Paltrow (GP) always gets a lot of press, some not so kind. GP’s lifestyle brand goop has a brilliant weekly podcast. GP is a wellness advocate and along with Chief Content Officer Elise Loehnen sits down to chat with leading thinkers, culture changers, and industry disruptors, from doctors to creatives and CEOs. The goop podcast is a collection of inspiring conversations, with a new episode each week. Eye-opening, humorous and informative.
Oprah Super Soul Conversations
You can’t beat a dose of Oprah! This podcast is Oprah’s personal selection of interviews with thought-leaders, best-selling authors, spiritual luminaries, as well as health and wellness experts. All focused on lighting you up and guiding you through life’s big questions. This podcast is a roll call of the who’s-who in wellness and spirituality, with guests like Author Eckhart Tolle, Gary Zukav and Kris Carr. Uplifting, inspiring and motivational.
If you’ve seen the Netflix documentary, you’ll be well aware of the Minimalists. The Minimalists are American authors, podcasters, filmmakers, and public speakers Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus. Josh and Ryan AKA The Minimalists share their message of living more with less. The Minimalist Podcast is a series of conversations and interviews covering everything from sustainable living, positive thinking, financial independence to creativity. Entertaining, funny and thought provoking.
