Everyday life can be stressful, having a mini aromatherapy wellbeing ritual can help you to de-stress and reduce anxiety on the go. The first time I introduced essential oils into my daily routine was when I sat my driving test (for the tenth time) having a Lavender roll on essential oil helped to calm my nerves. Since then I’ve always had some kind of aromatherapy essential product with me, I find that the fragrance helps me to calm down and reduces stress. Aromatherapy Wellbeing Ritual
Using essential oils in everyday life can be as simple as using a natural hand cream that you can use to gently massage your hands when things are stressing you out. Using an aromatherapy roll on, as I did in my driving test, is another easy and compact way to carry the power of essential oils into situations that might be a cause of anxiety for example, an exam, an important meeting or a job interview. The latest product that I’m using is the Scentered De-Stress Therapy Balm, which was kindly sent to me to try out. The balm is compact (roughly the size of a lipstick) and smells incredible. One of the great advantages of the balm, is there is no risk of leakage in your bag or potential for mess. To use the balm you rub it onto your wrists, neck and temples and the oils have a gentle calming effect.
Essential oils have the power to relax and calm the nervous system to reduce anxiety, body tension and emotional stress. The Scentered De-Stress Therapy Balm contains Camomile, Neroli and Mandarin. Mandarin Essential Oil is perhaps one of the best oils to aid in calming anxiety, pain and nausea. Combined, these three oils have a beautifully relaxing effect and can bring a peaceful moment to any stressful day.
Introducing essential oils into your every day can be a great way to inject a little calm. Say you’re busy in the office or find yourself feeling frustrated and angry sat in traffic.
