Waking up with the sun shining is a real pleasure, getting in full holiday mode we cracked open the ice creams, it wouldn’t be a holiday without scoffing an ice cream inappropriately early in the day now would it? Day 2 of our Screamin’ 50′s Rock ‘n’ Rhythm Festival adventure kicked off with a leisurely start, ice cream and a dunk in our pool.
Our garden has some beautiful flowers and mature plants including a lemon tree which as a keen gardener, I absolutely love. I sat and admired the flowers, soaked up the sunshine and kicked back while the fabulous ladies jerked around in the pool with various inflatable items. What can beat a private swimming pool, ice cream, sunshine, flowers, BFF’s and Katy Perry on the stereo? (yes that’s right Katy Perry, not exactly rock ‘n’ roll but most certainly a bad ass chica)Following our pre-festival mini pool party and daily dose of Katy Perry we showered and dressed ready for the Tiki Party. We were super excited for the Tiki party at Santy’s Beach Bar on the beach with DJ’s playing rock ‘n’ roll all day. Tiki day called for hair flowers and parasols and of course Hawaiian floral prints, what’s not to get excited about?
On route to the beach bar we stopped and posed next to this beautiful classic car, which is kind of obligatory but none the less fabulous. On our arrival Santy’s Beach Bar was rockin’ with revellers in full swing. We grabbed some lunch, watched the dancers and enjoyed some lol’s before heading home for siesta before the evenings entertainment.
